Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were among the other prominent guests at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s Shubh Aashirwad ceremony. Amid all the viral videos from the grand event, a clip featuring Rajinikanth touching Amitabh’s feet has emerged online.
Rajinikanth, accompanied by his wife Latha Rajinikanth, approached Amitabh Bachchan, who attended the event with his granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda and son-in-law Nikhil Nanda. In a video, Rajinikanth is seen nearly bending down to touch Amitabh’s feet as a sign of deep respect. However, Amitabh, embodying grace and humility, gently stopped him and embraced him instead. The two then shook hands and shared a warm conversation.

For the event, Big B wore a navy blue kurta adorned with multicolored embroidery, while Rajinikanth kept it traditional in a plain white kurta and dhoti.
Rajinikanth and Amitabh collaborated 32 years ago in the film ‘Hum’ which was a massive hit. The two are now set to reunite on the silver screen in the upcoming movie ‘Vettaiyan.’
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got married on Friday (July 12) after months-long pre-wedding events in India and abroad. Anant, 29, oversees the renewable and green energy expansion for Reliance Industries Ltd, a major oil-to-telecom conglomerate. While Radhika, also 29, is the daughter of pharmaceutical tycoon Viren Merchant and serves as the marketing director for Encore Healthcare, her father's company.
