A villa, multiple flats, commercial space, independent buildings, 16 acres of agricultural land, 19 prime open plots, two four-wheelers, gold ornaments and substantial bank deposits — this is the wealth unearthed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) during raids on Nune Sridhar, an executive engineer with the Irrigation and Command Area Development (CAD) Department in Telangana.
Sridhar was arrested for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The ACB registered a case against him for acquiring properties through unlawful means and misusing his official position. Searches were conducted at his residence and 13 other locations associated with him and his relatives.
