A street food vendor was slammed on the internet for his recipe of a bizarre omelette that he made with Parle-G biscuits and cheese. The short video was posted on Instagram by a page named ‘foodb_unk’ and has gone viral with over 13 million views. But, no surprise there that people are absolutely disgusted with the recipe, as is clearly visible from the comments section of the post.
To make the omelette, the vendor began by cracking two eggs into a bowl, followed by chopped onions, salt and masala. He poured the mixture into a pan and cooked the omelette in butter. What followed left social media users nauseous as he layered the omelette with Parle-G biscuits and grated cheese. He garnished it with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
The video was captioned: “Moye Moye Omelette”, and you can watch it here, but at your own risk though.
A cursory glance at the comments section explains the emotions felt by social media users. Kind words weren’t used for the street food vendor either.
Meanwhile, the internet noticed, “Things got moye moye right from when he used a rusted spring to whisk the egg.” And then, this: “I'm going to make it for those people who always give my parents free advice for my life.”
Several social media users resonated with this particular comment that reads, “I would prefer to die than eating it.”
