Lyricist Javed Akhtar recently got annoyed with the paparazzi as they kept yelling his name, asking him to pose. Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi were posing for camera outside Anil Kapoor's residence.

Kapoor had hosted a birthday dinner for the veteran lyricist. At one point, when the paps kept insiting that Akhtar pose for them, the artiste told them, "Shor mat karo' (Keep it low)."

AKHTAR'S BIRTHDAY BASH
After asking the paparazzi not to shout, Javed Akhtar then went on to hold Shabana Azmi's hand and the couple together struck a pose for the camera. While Javed Akhtar wore a kurta and a jacket for the occasion, Shabana Azmi was seen wearing an Indo-western dress. Later, the paparazzi sang happy birthday for the senior writer and wished him on his special day.
Akhtar turned 79 on January 17. The said birthday bash was graced by the likes of Farhan Akhtar, Boney Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor among others.
Besides Sonam Kapoor and Boney Kapoor, Akhtar's birthday party was also attended by Honey Irani, Rajkumar Hirani, Ritesh Sidhwani, Madhuri Dixit Nene among more.
