A day after quitting the Congress party, Maharashtra's former Chief Minister, Ashok Chavan, is set to join the BJP today. Chavan would join the party at nearly 12 pm at the Mumbai BJP office.
Chavan resigned from Congress and also as an MLA amid speculation that he would join the BJP.
The former Chief Minister sent his resignation letter as a primary member to state Congress president Nana Patole.
