BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A woman stabbed a victim in the back at a subway station in Brooklyn Monday, police said.
The incident happened at the Franklin Avenue station in Bedford–Stuyvesant around 11:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.
The woman approached the victim from behind and stabbed the person in the back, police said. The victim was treated at a hospital.
The suspect fled and hasn't been caught, police said.
Additional information about the incident wasn’t immediately available.
In a separate incident Monday, a man stabbed a subway rider in the back several times after the two fought about smoking on a Brooklyn train, according to police.
On Saturday, a man allegedly slashed a woman in the face during a fight at a Manhattan subway station, police said.
