Talking about the trend of directors and actors teaming up veteran trade expert Taran Adarsh says , “ When you are a successful combination, you automatically want to repeat the combination. The actor wants to work with the director. The director wants to work with the actor. It is something that happens naturally and it has been happening over the decades , once the combination of Amitabh Bachchan with Manmohan Desai and Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Mehra or Amitabh Bachchan and Ramesh Sippy clicked, they worked repeatedly in several films. Besides natural progression there is also a certain comfort level that this director will make me look better in this particular role or this director knows that this actor is best for this kind of role etc. together “
