UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) – Some 17 units are available for sale on New York City’s affordable housing lottery on the Upper West Side starting at $173,801.
The available units, seven one-bedrooms and 10 studios, sit in a five-story walk-up on West 80th Street near Amsterdam Avenue.
The studios are between 240 and 343 square feet large, and the one-bedrooms range from 466 to 544 square feet.
The units cost $173,801 for a studio to $184,990 for a one-bedroom, and the monthly maintenance of the units is estimated to be around $1,000.
To apply for the studios, a household of one or two needs to make at least $73,319 per year but cannot make more than $130,440 for an individual applicant. For the one-bedroom, applicants need to make a combined $78,223 to apply and are capped at $149,160 per year for two people.
The apartments are air-conditioned with hard-wood floors and outdoor areas in the building.
