UPSC CSE admit card 2024 released. Direct link to download

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC IAS 2024 admit card on the official website,i.e.,upsc.gov.in. Applicants who have successfully registered themselves and will appear for the UPSC exam can check and download their admit cards now on or before the exam date. The exam will be held in two shifts for paper 1 and paper 2.

The UPSC IAS 2024 exam is set for June 16. It will be conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The specific exam timings, reporting time, and other crucial instructions for exam day will be detailed on the admit card, which will be issued by UPSC.

The commission seeks to fill in 1056 vacancies in the central government services and departments.

UPSC CSE PRELIMS DETAILS

The UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims consists of two objective-type papers:

• General Studies I (GS I)

• Marks: 200

• Significance: Counts towards merit and cut-off determination

• Topics Covered:

• History

• Geography

• Polity

• Economy

• Science & Technology

• Environment

• Current Affairs

• General Studies II (CSAT)

• Marks: 200
• Significance: Qualifying paper with a passing criterion of 33 percent

• Skills Assessed:

• Comprehension

• Analytical Ability

• Basic Aptitude Skills

• The total marks for both papers combined is 400.
