Two men die after being found unconscious in Little Italy: NYPD

LITTLE ITALY, Manhattan (PIX11) -- The NYPD is investigating the death of two men who were found in Little Italy on Saturday afternoon.

The victims were found around 3:46 p.m. following a 911 call at 118 Mulberry Street.

Police say the two individuals were located in the stairwell of the building. A 34-year-old man was dead at the scene.

The second man, a 35-year-old, was unconscious and unresponsive, police say. He was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct autopsies to determine the cause of death.
