HARLEM, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Two gunmen are accused of shooting and wounding two men on a Manhattan street last month, police said Wednesday.
A 37-year-old man was shot in the back and a 26-year-old man was struck in the buttocks near 136th Street and Seventh Avenue in Harlem at around 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 15, according to the NYPD. The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Jonathan Hagley, 26, and Guy Jackson, 43, were arrested in connection to the double shooting, police said. Hagley, a Manhattan resident, was charged with murder- intention, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon and pleaded not guilty during his arraignment, according to court records.
Jackson was apprehended last week and charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, police said. His arraignment was pending.
It was unclear what prompted the violence.
