, honoured 17 pairs of twins studying in the school on Monday.
Ramani Bhandary, vice principal of the school, said that the school hosts 17 pairs of twins across various classes, ranging from LKG to class X. This academic year witnessed the admission of four pairs of twins, prompting the school to recognise and honour all twins.

The school's president

TG Rajaram

Bhat, along with principal Shrihari Bhat, extended felicitations to the twins, she said.
Shrihari Bhat said that the school strength is 914, with students studying in UKG to class XII. A similar function was conducted in 2021, when the school had 11 pairs of twins, he said.
He said that among the twins, one pair each is enrolled in LKG, classes I, VIII and X. Additionally, there are two pairs of twins in classes II and VII, while three pairs are studying in UKG, classes VI, and IX. Among the twins, six pairs are girls, five are boys, and the remaining pairs are fraternal twins.

"Managing twins in educational settings can be challenging, especially if they are identical. Most students recognise them, but staff members at times find it difficult," Bhat said.
"Also, there are other challenges, including potential comparisons between their academic performance or social dynamics, the need for individualised attention to accommodate distinct learning styles, and fostering an environment that respects their identities while promoting a sense of unity," he added.
