Tunnel on Long Island helps frogs, wildlife safely cross road

NEW YORK (PIX11) – The Town of Brookhaven had a big problem. Hundreds of spring peeper frogs were trying to cross a two-lane road to breed in a large pond and were being run over.

The solution was to build a tunnel, and they found that the frogs were not the only creatures using it.
