Trisha Stratus, who is regarded as one of the most
legendary women wrestlers
of all time recently shared that she saw potential in
Tiffany Stratton
. She believes that Stratton could live up to the high standards set by her in the wrestling domain. She saw a glimmer of her potential in the former WWE Women’s Champion, Stratton.
Appearing on the Busted Open Radio, Stratus shared that, "There is Trish Stratus-esque potential when it comes to Tiffany Stratton.” This comes after Stratton entered the main roster post WrestleMania 40 and NXT Women’s Championship.
Both the matches made her really popular among fans and WWE management. She also earned the spotlight in the WWE Elimination Chamber, a match that was held in Perth Australia. WrestleMania 39 was the last match she played where she was joined by Becky Lynch and Lita to take down Bayley, Iyo Sky as well as Dakota Kai. Stratton and team emerged as the winners of the match.
Stratton is not the only one that Trish gave due credit to. She also commended Chealsea Green on her performance and remarked, "I also think Chelsea [Green] makes that briefcase more entertaining than any woman there.”

In the interview, she also recalled her match with Mickie James. She spoke about receiving a standing ovation backstage and shared, "Mickie James, you know, and Trish Stratus' match at WrestleMania 22 was everything, it really had every component you could ever ask for as a superstar. The best part for me personally, I don't know about you [Mickie], but when we came out, you know, through the curtain and having all our colleagues there giving us a standing O and giving us that applause was just so gratifying."
Trisha Stratus broke all records with a 448 day reign as WWE Women’s Champion, making it the longest reign of the 21st century. She also won the title seven times. Stratus is married to Ron Fisico and shares a child with him, Maximus Stratus Fisico. Apart from being a professional wrestler she has turned cover girl for multiple magazines, while also being deeply involved with philanthropy. Additionally, she played the role of the protagonist in the movie Bail Enforcers while also hosting several television shows and awards. Stratus also judged Canada’s Got Talent between 2022 to 2024.
Her fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Sunny opened up about how Stratus had been her inspiration and shared, "I do have to say, I mean the only person that I actually could sit and watch a match would be Trish Stratus. I give her all the props in the world. She's like the one person who came after me that I actually have 100% respect for because she came from nowhere and worked so hard and learned so much. She's the kind of person that does respect the business, you know? She was in it because she loved it not because it was a quick dollar."
