Traffic delays on the George Washington Bridge into New York City

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) -- There are extensive traffic delays on the George Washington Bridge into New York City during the Wednesday morning commute, officials said.
Both the lower and upper levels on the GWB into the city have delays of over an hour, due to volume, according to Port Authority New Jersey on X.
It's not immediately clear what caused the traffic delays, however Wednesday's wet weather is making for longer commutes for drivers.
