Tractor-trailer jackknifes, catches fire along I-80 in NJ; causing major traffic delays

HACKENSACK, N.J. (PIX11) – A tractor-trailer jackknifed and caught fire along I-80 in Hackensack, N.J., causing major traffic delays ahead of the Wednesday morning commute.

Only one lane of traffic is open on the westbound side of the roadway. The express lane is also closed going eastbound.

Fuel and debris spilled out into the road during the crash, according to officials. Fire crews put flame retardant on the ground.

Officials haven't confirmed any injuries.
