In the "Screen-Free Fun" category, Toy Insider recommends the Cuboro Standard and the 3Doodler Flow Pen. Mierzejewski says they're part of the trend of analog toys and adds "It's really taking things back to the classics. We've been seeing nostalgic brands like Lite-Brite and Tamagotchi, all those great things from the 90's."
If you're looking for some "Trendy Playful Pals", the Toy Insider says check out the FurReal Peanut the Playful Monkey, and the Fingerlings Interactive Baby Axolotl. The Axolotl, with a mini inflatable pool, retails for $19.99.
