Wolverhampton Wanderers locked in Matheus Cunha on a long-term deal during the winter transfer window, fending off interest from several clubs at the time. But that hasn’t put a stop to the rumors about his future.

Cunha has emerged as a key figure for Wolves, shining in multiple attacking roles and consistently making an impact. As reported by Fichajes, the Brazilian has impressed whether he’s played as an attacking midfielder, second striker, or center-forward—versatility that’s reportedly caught the eye of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Wolves clearly rate him highly, but there’s talk they could be tempted by offers north of €70 million. Back in January, Sky Sports News reported Nottingham Forest submitted a club-record bid of around £60 million.

Fichajes reports that Tottenham are willing to break their transfer record and pay around £65 million to sign Cunha this summer.

However, as talkSPORT’s Gabby Agbonlahor stated, Spurs should proceed with caution if they want to make a move for the Brazilian.

“I wouldn’t want him part of my family because he’s negative approach. I wouldn’t want him anywhere near my club. I feel like Aston Villa, we’ve got a good squad of players now where no one thinks they’re bigger than a club, and no one’s looking to move to a bigger club. He is not respecting Wolves. Do you know what I mean? You’ve been suspended for four or five games this season because you can’t control your temper…”

“This Joker, who only signed a new contract so you get a release clause in there. Sell him in the summer. Use the money to bring in players that don’t think they’re bigger than Wolves… I would not like this player playing for my football club. I don’t know who he thinks he is.”
