For most of us, washing our hair is the 'me-time' that we need to get rid of all the stress. But taking out time for this self-relaxing session often gets difficult. Either we are too lazy or getting late, or it is just too cold. In times like these, this DIY dry shampoo will be your knight in shining armour.
Before sharing an easy recipe for this dry shampoo, which only requires six ingredients, let us first tell you what this magical product is. It basically reduces greasiness without the need for water, unlike the usual shampoo. Read on to know how to make dry shampoo at home.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon activated charcoal powder, 1/4 cup raw cacao powder, 1/2 cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch, 2 tablespoon bentonite or kaolin clay, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 20-30 drops lavender or lemongrass essential oil
Method:
This dry shampoo is quite easy to make. You just need to combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together. Now, take a repurposed shaker and transfer the mix into it with the help of a funnel.
To use the dry shampoo, sprinkle the mix generously onto the hair roots as per requirement. After application, massage the mixture on your scalp, and you are good to go.
