Toddler dies after being struck by vehicle in Ramapo, police say

RAMAPO, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A toddler was fatally struck by a car on Monday in Ramapo, according to police.

A call came in of a 2-year-old child struck around 3 p.m. to Calvert Drive. Officers discovered the child was struck by a Honda Odyssey driven by a 21-year-old, according to police.

The child was taken to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, police said.

The crash is under investigation, and police have said there are currently no criminal charges.
