Times Square shooting suspect believed to be teen migrant: sources

NEW YORK (PIX11) – The suspect accused of shooting a tourist in the leg in a Times Square store is believed to be a teenage migrant, according to sources.

A woman was shot Thursday evening after three men attempted to steal from JD Sports, according to the NYPD.

Two suspects are in custody in connection with the shooting, police said. The alleged gunman shot at police officers who were pursuing him on 6th Avenue to Rockefeller Center.

The tourist was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, officials said.
