were initially approached by the director but they refused to do the film due to a kissing scene.

According to a 2020 report in Cinejosh, the makers planned to cast Keerthy Suresh as the lady love of Nithiin in this film. After Keerthy's rejection, they approached Priyanka Mohan who also turned down the project. This triggered rumors about the

The Sriram Raghavan directorial Andhadhun features an intense lip-lock scene between Ayushmann Khurrana and Radhika Apte while they are making love to each other as per the film's script.
