This Bronx neighborhood ranks among the most expensive in NYC

FIELDSTON, The Bronx (PIX11) – A Bronx neighborhood is among the 50 most expensive in New York City, according to a new report from PropertyShark.

The median sale price for a home in Fieldston is around $900,000, per the report. The median cost for a home in that same neighborhood in 2023 was around $250,000.

Fieldston saw a year-over-year price surge of 257%, according to the report. Nearly half of the neighborhood's sales in the second quarter of 2024 were single-family homes that went for over $1 million.

The median sale price of a home in the Bronx borough is $343,000, according to the report.

Hudson Yards remains the most expensive neighborhood in the Big Apple, holding that position since 2019. The median cost of a home is $7.5 million, per the report.
