Notepad

Notepad to get Cocreator feature powered by AI
Windows Latest has reported that Microsoft is testing a new ChatGPT-4 powered feature called Cocreator in Notepad which is powered by ChatGPT-4.

The report mentions that references of the new AI-powered feature have been spotted in the Notepad app on Windows 11 which suggests the upcoming feature.
The Notepad package folder files with prefixes like “CoWriterCreditLimitDialog”, “CoWriterDropDownButton”, and “CoWriterWaitlistDialog”, have been found which indicates that Microsoft is working on the feature which may arrive with the future updates of the app.

What’s this new feature all about
Notepad’s Cocreator feature is aimed at making things easier for users to write and create in the Notepad app. As per the report, the feature will let users generate unique and original content directly within the app. However, it is also expected that Microsoft could implement some credit system to limit the usage. So, once the credit limit is over, users won’t be able to use it.
That said, the rollout details of the new

Notepad Cocreate

feature aren’t available. Considering the feature is under development and Microsoft hasn’t yet started testing in any of the

Windows Insider Preview

channels, it may take a while before it comes to the stable build.
Recently, Microsoft rebranded its Edge web browser to Edge AI browser on all platforms. The recent update of the Edge brings several new integrated AI-based features including Copilot’s sidebar.
