NEW YORK (PIX11) - The latest class of graduates from the firefighter academy is the most diverse class in the history of the FDNY. Yet, the department is still suffering from racial and gender disparities. Regina Wilson, the president of the black firefighter organization, The Vulcan Society, joins PIX11 to discuss FDNY’s recent class of graduates and the controversy involving outbursts against Attorney General Letitia James at last week’s ceremony.
