PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) -- Saint Michael the Archangel is a national historic landmark. The first Italian church in Paterson, N.J., opened in 1904, and for 120 years, it has been the spiritual beacon for generations of churchgoers.

This final mass was a solemn occasion for many to reflect on the profound impact that Saint Michaels has had on the community.
