event and McIntyre’s rare act of praising a WWE legend. This has fueled speculation as fans are left wondering what’s next.
The Rock’s backstage meeting with McIntyre sparks debates: Is The Scottish Warrior planning to align with The Rock as Cena?
While speaking on The Daily Star, McIntyre was asked to shed some light on what’s next considering his cordial bond with The People’s Champion despite his bicker with The Bloodline over a few years. He stated, “I absolutely can not tell you any information on that, but what I can tell you is one of the narratives I see online is that people don’t pay close attention to the stories. Why is Drew always talking about The Rock? I thought he hated the Bloodline? No, I hate people that wronged me personally. If somebody wronged me, I have an issue with them, just like anybody in real life.
McIntyre further continued and stated, “The Rock has actively looked out for me my whole career since I was a kid. Himself and his business partner/ex-wife, Dany, have always said such positive things to me. He put me over in a TMZ interview when I wasn’t doing anything in particular that justified him saying I was going to be the next big star when I re-signed with the company. You know, he’d sent the sword, sent me some really nice words that I’ll never reveal to the world. We got a chance to catch up at the Chamber. We had a really good talk, and there are some things on the horizon, some big things in the world. We’ll see when it’s time.”
As WrestleMania 41 approaches, The Rock’s dominance continues to grow in WWE. From an unpredictable alliance with Cena to a potential new conflict coming, WWE is entering an era like never before. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
