To the unversed, NFL players are usually paid more than NFL head coaches. Some of the highest-paid NFL players are Dak Prescott, Jared Goff, Jordan Love, and Patrick Mahomes. Dak Prescott, quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, is remunerated $86 million. Jared Goff, quarterback of the Detroit Lions, is salaried $81 million. Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers is compensated $79 million. And Patrick Mahomes, quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, is rewarded $46 million.
However, there are some highest-paid head coaches too. In 2023, Bill Belichick, the head coach of the New England Patriots, was the highest-drawing head coach with an annual salary of about $25 million. In 2024, Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, was the highest-paid head coach, with yearly earnings of about $20 million. In fact, a survey conducted in 2023 declared that NFL head coaches constitute about 70% of the total highest-drawing head coaches. That was salary. Now, comes the fine.
