The Mehta Boys trailer: Boman Irani, Avinash Tiwary explore father-son dynamics

Actor Boman Irani's directorial, The Mehta Boys, promises a heartwarming and mature take on the father-son relationship. The first promo of the movie is here, where we see Irani sharing a bittersweet relationship with his son, played by the versatile Avinash Tiwary.

The two end up sharing a home and regularly get into frustrating spats with each other. The promo highlights their uneven dynamics, which often results in conflicts.

Avinash Tiwary, who plays Boman Irani’s son Amay in the movie, shared, “Amay’s character is layered with complexities, torn between familial loyalty and personal resentment. Certain circumstances force him into an intense and transformative encounter with his father, reshaping his perspective in ways he never anticipated. Portraying this journey was both challenging and rewarding. I am proud to be part of a movie that explores such relatable themes of family ties and reconciliation.
