) has just completed its theatrical run in North America. The circuit is usually known to lap up Hindi and Telugu films, but when it comes to Vijay- the market opens its arms with all the love.

GOAT released on 5th September, and has finally concluded its run in cinema halls of the United States of America and Canada ( North American Circuit) where it went on to mint nearly US $ 4.3 million (Rs 36 crore).

And of the total collection, US $ 4.2 million came from the Tamil version. And between the two countries, the USA contributed about US $ 2.78 million.

And with this, the film has gone on to become the 7th highest grossing Tamil film and 2nd biggest hit for Thalapathy Vijay in the circuit. The biggest hit for Vijay in the region will continue to be Lokesh Kanagaraj’s

Leo: Bloody Sweet

, which went on to mint US $5.69million, and it is the third biggest Tamil film in the North American circuit.

The Greatest of All Time features Vijay in a dual role, and a star-studded cast of Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Vijay’s final film is being directed by H Vinoth, and the film has been tentatively titled as Thalapathy 69; the makers released a poster for the film with the caption “ The Torchbearer of Democracy".
