LONGWOOD, The Bronx (PIX11) -- A teenager was shot in the Bronx on Sunday, according to police.
Police said the boy, 13, was shot once in the leg near Simpson Street and Westchester Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
Sources told PIX11 News the boy appears to be an innocent bystander who said he heard arguing and then gunshots before being shot.
Two males were seen running away, according to sources.
The teen was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to police.
