Teenager fatally shot at Fort Greene NYCHA development, police say

FORT GREENE (PIX11) – A teenager was killed at a Fort Greene NYCHA development Saturday evening, according to the NYPD. 

The 16-year-old was shot in the chest just before midnight Saturday near Auburn Place and North Portland Avenue at the Whitman NYCHA development, according to the NYPD.

He was rushed to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said. 

Police have not made any arrests related to the shooting Sunday. 

In the Bronx, an 11-year-old child was shot Saturday evening and rushed to an area hospital, police said. The child was in stable condition, police said.
