Teen skateboarder critically injured in Brooklyn crash: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A 15-year-old girl on a skateboard was critically injured after she was hit by a car in Brooklyn Thursday morning, police said.

The teen was pinned under the vehicle after she was struck near Neptune Avenue and Tenth Street at around 8:30 a.m., according to the NYPD. The girl was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, police said.

The extent of her injuries was unclear.

The driver remained at the scene. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
