Teen killed, one injured in scooter crash in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A teenager was killed in a crash involving a scooter and an SUV in the Bronx Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.

The crash occurred at around 12:09 p.m. at West 192nd Street and University Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Driver fleeing NYPD crashes into another car, killing woman in Brooklyn

The driver of the scooter, a 19-year-old man, was found unconscious and unresponsive, police said. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.

A 16-year-old female passenger on the scooter died at the scene, according to the NYPD.

A Honda Pilot was involved, police said. The driver remained on the scene.
