Teen fatally shot in the head on SoHo street: NYPD

SOHO, Manhattan (PIX11) --- A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in the head on a Manhattan street Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident happened outside 233 Spring St. near Varick Street at around 2:30 p.m., according to the NYPD. The teen was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.

Authorities are searching for two suspects who may have fled on CitiBikes, police said. There have been no arrests.
