Teen dies after falling from Harrison train station parking garage rooftop

HARRISON, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A 13-year-old boy died after falling off the fifth-story rooftop of the Harrison Metro-North train station parking garage on Sunday, according to the MTA Police Department.

The incident happened at around 5:47 p.m. A group of five minors were on the rooftop when the teen, identified as Mark Anthony Giordano, lost control of an electric-powered bike, police said.

The teen was taken to the White Plains Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other four minors were not injured, and police do not believe criminality is involved.

A GoFundMe was started to raise funds to assist the family with expenses they will encounter in their time of need.
