QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A teen is accused of fatally stabbing a 17-year-old girl in the neck during a fight outside a Queens subway station Wednesday night, police said.

The 15-year-old girl was charged with murder after allegedly stabbing Sara Rivera, of Queens, near the 46th Street-Bliss Street subway station in Sunnyside around 9:25 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Sources said the teens were friends and were spotted on surveillance video fighting before Rivera was fatally stabbed in the neck.

The teen was taken into custody at the Flushing-Main Street subway station, which is the end of the No. 7 subway line, according to authorities.
