Teen, 15, stabbed at Mount Vernon basketball court: school district

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. (PIX11) – A teenager was stabbed at a Mount Vernon basketball court Tuesday afternoon, according to Mount Vernon City School District officials. 

The 15-year-old Mount Vernon High School student was left with non-life-threatening injuries after the stabbing at 4 p.m. at Benjamin Turner School on South Third Avenue, according to the district.

The school is currently on spring break so it has been closed this week, according to district officials.
