BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (PIX11) – A teenager was shot in Brentwood Saturday evening, just one day after another teenager was fatally shot in Bay Shore, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The 13-year-old was shot around 6:45 p.m. on Pheasant Circle, police said. He was rushed to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Little else was known about the attack and police had not made any arrests Sunday.

Nearby in Bay Shore, 19-year-old Sean Mills was fatally shot Friday night after a party, police said. A 17-year-old girl was also shot that night in Bay Shore, police said.

“He really was a nice kid. He never started with anybody,” said Sean Mills’ brother, James Mills.
