TD Bank to open 2 new locations in NYC

NEW YORK (PIX11) – TD Bank will open two new locations in New York City this week.

TD Bank will open at 3433 Jerome Ave. in the Bronx’s Kingsbridge Heights neighborhood on Friday.

Another TD Bank location will open at 722 Brighton Beach Ave. in Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach neighborhood on Saturday.

The new openings come as TD Bank plans to close nearly a dozen locations in New York and New Jersey.

TD Bank will close five locations in New York and six locations in New Jersey effective June 5. They are among 38 TD Bank locations closing nationwide. TD Bank has 1,100 locations in the United States.

“As part of our normal business practices, we regularly evaluate existing TD Bank stores, which may result in some closures, consolidations, or relocations as we look for opportunities to better align our network of stores with customer needs and preferences,” TD Bank said in a statement in March.

The following TD Bank locations in New York and New Jersey will be closing:

New York

  • Manhattan – 125 Park Ave.
  • Manhattan – 451 Lexington Ave.
  • Greenlawn, Suffolk County – 460 Pulaski Road
  • Middletown, Orange County – 156 Dolson Ave.
  • Plattsburgh, Clinton County – 136 Margaret St.

New Jersey

  • Cedar Grove, Essex County – 85 Pompton Ave.
  • Flemington, Hunterdon County – 1 Royal Road
  • Holmdel, Monmouth County – 670 S. Laurel Ave.
  • Marlton, Burlington County – 191 E. Route 70
  • Ringwood, Passaic County – 145 Skyline Drive
  • Spring Lake Heights, Monmouth County – 555 Warren Ave.
