Tata Tiago CNG AMT on-road prices in top cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and more

recently launched the CNG

AMT variants

of the Tata Tiago hatchback. The Tiago CNG AMT is India’s first AMT car that gets factory

factory-fitted CNG kit

and is offered in three variants - XTA, XZA+, and XZA NRG. The

hatchback

is priced between ₹7.90 lakh and ₹8.80 lakh (both ex-showroom) and the bookings for the hatch are already underway.

Let’s start with Bengaluru, the on-road price for the top-of-the-line XZA plus dual-tone variant of the Tata Tiago CNG AMT is Rs 10.75 lakh. In Delhi the hatch costs 10.05 lakh, in Mumbai it costs Rs 10.10 lakh, in Chennai it costs Rs 10.65 lakh, in Hyderabad it costs Rs 10.75 lakh, in Kolkata it costs 10.4 lakh, in Kochi it costs 10.45 lakh, in Chandigarh it costs Rs 9.9 lakh, in Ahmedabad the hatchback costs 9.9 lakh and in Pune, the CNG AMT hatchback costs 10.12 lakh.

The Tiago CNG AMT is powered by the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, NA engine that puts out 86hp of power and 113Nm of torque. In CNG mode, the car puts out 73hp and 95Nm. The CNG models get a 5-speed AMT gearbox and it also gets ‘Creep’ functionality. There’s also the option of a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Tata claims there will not be any difference in terms of the performance of the vehicle when it is running on CNG and the company also said that the restart gradability is in line with petrol and the best in the segment. The company also introduced a new Tornado Blue shade in the Tiago, Grassland Beige in Tiago NRG.

The Tiago gets get twin-cylinder technology to save boot space, a single advanced ECU and also gets the direct start in CNG. In terms of features, the cars get 14-inch wheels, projector headlamps with LED DRLS, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an eight-speaker Harman audio system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors. Tigor CNG additionally gets rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps.
