NEW YORK (PIX11)— As inflation cools, major retail outlets offer steep discounts to attract summer shoppers who have been in sticker shock and inflation-weary.
Target, Wal-Mart, and Aldi have rolled out price cuts.

These discounts are not limited to specific items but will cover a wide range of everyday essentials. Target has announced that consumers can expect price reductions on items such as Clorox-scented wipes, liquid detergents, dog food, and even butter in their local stores and on the Target app.
It comes as the retailers have noticed that consumers have become price-conscious and choosy.
Officials said a sustained period of lower inflation would provide much-welcome economic stability and prices for consumers and businesses.
