, who became a mother to a son in June last year, recently posted a video on how she is upset with people

fat shaming

. The actress narrated an incident about how a friend fat-shamed a common friend who had delivered a baby. She said, "We were all having dinner at an eatery and a friend was talking about another common friend, who had recently delivered a baby.

He kept referring to her as 'moti' and I really felt bad about people being insensitive."
She has had to put up with nasty comments too. The actress shared, "Fat shaming is not cool. When I became a mother in June last year, people commented on my weight gain. I had recently posted a reel about sleeping peacefully after many weeks of my delivery and they trolled me for weight gain and even asked me if I was expecting a child again because I had gained weight. Most of the times people are not even aware what a woman's journey has been all about when she delivers a baby. There could be health issues or lack of help at home but some people just don't understand. A woman may be happy with her weight gain and comfortable in her skin, why do others have to make an issue?"

In addition to being trolled on weight gain, Tanvi has also been criticised for her choice of clothes. She said,

"I remember someone commenting on how I should dress well while going out with my baby. They joked how my baby would not like his mother if I did not do proper make-up because he is light skinned and I have a wheatish tone! They don't even think once before cracking such jokes."
