In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Tanuj Virwani opens up about his parents' separation and how he coped with it.
Years ago, the actress from Ek Duje Ke Liye spoke openly about suffering from domestic abuse during her marriage with Anil Virwani. She bravely filed a complaint with the police against him. Looking back, she recounted how challenging those days were.

Tanuj revealed, “Uss time pe mummy papa ke beech issues chal rahe the jo unfortunately public bane. Jo mere hisaab se it should never become public because it is what it is. But unhone apne issues resolve kare hai and maine bhi koshish kari. (At that time, there were issues between my parents that unfortunately became public. In my opinion, such matters should never become public because it is what it is. However, they have resolved their issues and I also made an effort).”

He further adds, “Ek waqt ke baad, umar ke baad u just don’t have to be a son but also a friend to your parents. And har relationship mein ups and down toh hote hi hai. It’s just that because mummy ek bahut successful actress hai ye bahut jyada news mein aagaya. But achi baat ye hai ki hum sab abhi ek saath rehte hai, chahe lonavala ya Mumbai ke ghar mein. (Over time, with age, you not only have to be a son but also a friend to your parents. And every relationship has its ups and downs. It’s just that because my mother is a very successful actress, it became big news. But the good thing is that we all live together now).”
“But obviously I was in my 20’s that time and I had not even achieved much in career. So it was like you are trying to prove yourself and simultaneously these things were going, so it was disturbing. But now it’s okay”, Tanuj said.
