TAKE 5 winner takes home thousands of dollars the day before Thanksgiving

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – One lucky person won thousands of dollars the day before Thanksgiving, the New York Lottery announced Friday.

The lucky individual won the evening draw of the TAKE 5 drawing by matching the five numbers needed for the winning jackpot.

Winning numbers from Wednesday evening's drawing were Nos. 7, 9, 13, 31, and 37. The winning ticket was sold at a bodega on 2897 Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx.

The winning amount is $35,033. The player has one year from the time of the drawing to claim their prize.
