Suspicious device found near Chase Bank in Queens: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A suspicious device was found outside a Chase Bank in Queens, according to the NYPD.

Emergency personnel are near 112th Street and Liberty Avenue, causing traffic delays and road closures. Officials are asking the public to avoid the area, according to Notify NYC.

A trains aren't running between Rockaway Boulevard and Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard because of the NYPD investigation at 111st Street. The last stop on Lefferts Boulevard-bound ‌A‌ trains will be at ‌Euclid Av‌enue or ‌Howard Beach-JFK Airport‌, according to the MTA.

In one video posted to Citizen, a heavy police presence is seen at the scene. The area beneath the subway tracks is taped off and at least one crew of FDNY members is in fire gear.
