Suspect wanted after MTA employee attacked inside subway station: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- An on-duty MTA employee was taken to the hospital following an attack inside a subway station in Brooklyn on Sunday.

The incident happened around 9:35 p.m. inside the Myrtle Avenue and Wyckoff Avenue subway station.

Police say the 53-year-old victim was stationed on the lower mezzanine when an unknown individual approached her and hit her twice in the head with an umbrella.

The NYPD released the following surveillance video of the suspect.

The victim was taken to Wyckoff Hospital in stable condition.
