Suspect allegedly pepper sprayed MTA bus driver in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a person accused of pepper spraying an MTA bus driver in the Bronx on May 3, according to authorities.

The accused suspect walked up to the bus driver working the BX28 route and sprayed him in the face around 4:30 p.m. Police said the suspect got off the bus around Valentine Avenue and East 192nd Street and left.

The bus driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Additional information was not immediately available.
