Sunil Grover and his comic timing was one of the highlights of the Kapil Sharma Show. However, back in 2017, a rift happened between the two and Grover opted out of the show. Seven years down the line, they are set to collaborate once again. Now, Sunil Grover, in a recent interview, opened up about his fallout with Sharma and the negative press coverage.

Talking to the Indian Express, Grover spoke about his relationship with Kapil Sharma now and their upcoming show. When asked if everything is well between them, Grover responded, “I think so.” Talking about their upcoming show, he said, “We will soon announce more details on the show and talk about it.”

Speaking about the press coverage of their fallout, Sunil Grover said, “Initially, I would get disturbed, but not anymore. I know the truth, so what someone says or understands is their problem, not mine. Those who point fingers, what is their credibility? If I need to answer something, I will do so, but usually there is no need for an explanation. They don’t have a full understanding of the matter, no facts, they are just saying something because it’s their job. Writing negative things grabs more attention. They will all understand eventually.”

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Kapil had admitted, “I’ve never felt insecurity. In fact, I’ve brought people in that I admired. I used to be short-tempered, I’ll admit. It was in my blood; I was an extremist. I would love passionately, and when I was angry, I would really lose composure. But I have improved.”

Kapil Sharma had an altercation with Sunil Grover on a flight after he was allegedly drunk. They have now patched up.
