Director and producer Subhash Ghai has announced the sequel to his film Aitraaz, directed by Abbas-Mustan. The original film featured Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar in the lead.

Director and producer Subash Ghai has announced the sequel to his film Aitraaz, which he had bankrolled. The film was directed by Abbas-Mustan. The orginal starred Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Amrish Puri among others in pivotal roles.
Ghai shared the exciting news recently via his social media handle with a still of Priyanka from the film. "BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL
PRIYANKA CHOPRA DARED N DID IT. That’s why cine lovers can not forget her performance even after 20 years today in #AITRAZ - produced my Mukta arts. When she was too apprehensive to do this role of an ardent ambitious woman, she did it with full confidence. Now MUKTA ARTS is ready for AITRAZ 2 with a finest script with 3 years of hard work. The cast details of the sequel are yet to be announced. Aitraaz released in 2004.
